The Miata was regarded as the best vehicle in the ‘10 Best lists’ for seven times. The NB model stood in top ten from its introduction in the year 1990. NC stood best in 10 lists in the year 2006. NA got car of the year award in the year 1989.

In the year 2004, Miata was one of the best vehicles. In the year 2005, the same vehicle got the best on the same Magazine. NC model is named as the best car.
